This is a very nice original 450SL with only 45,xxx original miles Mostly original paint, more than likely spot painted in some areas over the years The 1973 450SL's are among the most collectible w107 SL's Because of the small bumper which was only delivered to the U.S for 2 years 1972 and 1973 Even though the rear badge says 350SL, this is how it was delivered by the factory, butlater Mercedes Benz Dealers would send the 450SL badge to the registered owners home, along withthe letter of explanation, because these cars were 4.5 litter engines, not 3.5L The car runs and performs beautifuly as only the low miles car can do! Seats were redone in leather some years ago Dashboard is incredibly nice and crack free as you see in the pictures Michellin tires are brand new with less tha 100 miles Undercarriage totally rust free as you can see and only the California and Arizona cars provide such nice chassis free of rust to the world The car comes with very nice history of service and records of maintenance trhough out the years All of its chrome is in nearly perfect condition and original Mechanically is excellent, and is ready for a new owner to enjoy ! When you can find an original low mileage car well serviced like this one it really feels like a new car of its era Transmission shifts perfect, and there are not mechanical problems and is ready to go ! The W107s, are the next cars to go up in value this is the best time to get a hold of one of them, and this car is in exceptional shape.
