Description of 1973 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

1973 450 SL. Not currently running. Great restoration candidate! Purchased in California, and garaged continuously since brought to the Northeast. Convertible top in fair shape. non-original Hard top included. Transmission leaks, when started, runs rough. It has the small profile bumpers more typical in a '72 SL, I'm not sure if that means it was an early '73, or if it came from Germany. It was stolen in the '80's and recovered, it has a California DMV replacement VIN. I have a complete set of leather seat covers included.
