1985 Mercedes 300TD turbo diesel wagon original 162k miles gorgeous

1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous 123 series turbo diesel wagon. They made these legendary cars between 1978 and 198, but only for the last 4 years with the turbo version . They are known to be the most reliable and enduring cars Mercedes Benz ever produced . You often find them with over 500k miles and still running well.

My 300TD was finished in Cabernet Red ( MB color code 587) with Palomino color MB-tex interior. The body and the paint are in amazing condition all around. There are no dings or dents and the paint really shines. This car really stands out.

The seats are in great conditio, as the many pictures will show. There are no rips or tears and the seating area is still firm. The carpets are in good condition as wel, but i would replace the carpets in the cargo area eventually, as there are some light stains and wear.

This is a stunning 33 year old classic Mercedes, but the best thing is the way it drives. It has always been maintained very well and it shows.

We just had a complete service done to i, complete with valve adjustment and new fluids and filters. They also replaced the shocks for the rear hatch and re-charged the air conditioning. It blows cold.

This 300TD always starts up right away and it has plenty of power. The transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. You can comfortably cruise at 85-90 miles per hour while still getting 27mpg of diesel.

I am located in West Los Angeles and can show the car almost anytime with a little notice. I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could actually come out and see i, but i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up ( LAX ) for out of town winning bidders.

This is a wonderfu, well maintained classic Mercedes and it will be sold without a warranty "as is " and " where is" .
