1964 Red SE!

1964 Mercedes 220 SE Coupe Survivor.

This car has been in storage for the past decade, and was a due to be restored. The previous owner had the motor gone through, but we have no papers to confirm. It starts and runs on a fresh gas bottle and idles immediately – sounds great! Please follow the link to the video.

Fitted with its 2.2 litre factory motor and auto trans it really is period, and correct, all fluids looking very fresh. The body is great with patina and surface rust here and there, please study the images closely – they speak a thousand words on how this car has made it through the decades in this condition.

Spare wheel present in trunk, all wheel trims present and correct on car, interior is looking a little tired due to sun damage, but on the whole a great car to start your project with. Some rust issues and welding required in localised areas on the rockers and some areas underneath but nothing to bad – again please check images…
