Description of 1990 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Clear Title 1990 Mercedes R129 300 SL. This was my daily driver until i dropped the front end over a curb. The airbags were changed in 1999 and have not been deployed. Lets start with the good:This car is a very low mileage. clean SL. A very early production R129 that was imported to the US. It had as much power as a good SL500. but with better fuel economy. Rare 5 speed automatic transmission that shifted firmly. Top worked. hard top is from a black car. but fit well. All power options worked flawlessly. AC blew cold. automatic temp control was perfect. chrome wheels are immaculate. Non-smoker car. and it was babied. It has a newer Mercedes radio from a late 1990's car with an in-dash cd player. I fixed the "dash flash" that is common with these cars. and every gauge is perfect. Mileage is actual. Tires are still in great shape. Now the part that hurts. The car slid off of a curb and into a small small tree that wrinkled the front bumper and left front fender and a small piece of the hood. Radiator core support isn't hurt. not is the radiator. AC system. or air bag modules. Oil pan was punctured by the curbing and the oil drained out of it. The engine was not running when this occurred. Therefore. it does not run or move by itself. It will need to be towed to move. I purchased this vehicle abut two years ago and it has been stored inside. Clear title. so you wont have a problem licensing it in your location. What you see is what you get. sadly i cant offer any warranty. I accept paypal. cash or a check and a trip to my bank on pickup.
