Description of 1979 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Classic R107 Mercedes Benz 450sl convertible with hardtop. This is a fantastic driver. Recently had over $2000 in service at Schuler Autohaus. Runs and drives well. Idles a little high till warms up. Very clean and well looked after. Body and paint are nice and straight with just a few scratches here and there. The bumpers are straight and there's no physical damage evident. The hardtop is in fantastic shape. as is the interior. There are a couple of cracks in the dash and the drivers side kick panel has broken from being old and kicked a few times and that's it. A great driver quality classic for a fraction of what it books for. Tires are decent. Wheels are nice. Center caps need refreshing. I have not found any rust on the car but I do not have a lift to get super thorough. This is a 36 year old car and as such will have some issues. This one is very nice but because of the age. the car is sold as is with no warranty. Bid to buy. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. I can provide additional pictures if necessary.
