Description of 1983 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

The VIN for my car is WDB10704212016989. Ebay doesn't recognize this number for some reason. This is an imported euro model as the 280SL with the 6cyl engine was not available in the US market. It has a few small dings and the paint is peeling behind the cover for the convertible storage lid. Runs and drives great. AC and heat both work as they should. The fuel gauge reads off but the low fuel light still works. The car received a new soft top last year. The seats are in great shape and the tires were replaced about 6 months ago and only have about 200 miles on them. I have a clean and clear Texas title in my name. I have tried to describe it as best I can. I have also put the starting bid well below the value for this model. Someone will get a great deal on this car if they are the winning bidder.
