This car was a direct import by a east coast family to the US in 1980......???? and stayed in same family under proper care all it's life.This is a very rare car with the beautiful small bumpers and original European lights so much more beautiful than the American version with double lights and ugly bumpers we can buy the whole day long for little to no money.This particular car is in excellent mechanical condition and drives as it should and as it always did. No rust anywhere, with beautiful chrome work all around and no damage visible anywhere with the unique and original tissue interior never to be seen anymore. Another great feature on the car are roll up windows as it came from the factory. Who heard in those days in Europe of power windows. The suspension is tight and there is no play on the bushings /bearings, the steering wheel has no play and no clunkiness typical of the many used ( and abused) R 107.The mileage for sure original as records indicate shows average used of ( calculate it well) of about 5 thousand miles per year.We were told by the family the car was used sparingly on summer months only and always resided in a heated garage.Well, great car, great condition and all ALL original as it was made in Germany in 1980.....???Good luck bidding.Comes with a CLEAR TITLEWe will help with shipping to Europe where a 6% import tax will need to be paid.
