1983 380 SL convertable

Original paint and interior.

PLEASE NOTE THIS CAR HAS A DOUBLE ROW TIMING CHAIN. Engine has slight sign of rough idling. I was told to look for vacuum leak by the mechanic, since he checked other issues.

The engine from another car with less than 100K miles and was factory rebuild on 75K. Runs like new.

Hard top and soft top.

The dash has the plastic cover what I sow on many SL’s, I think it was manufacturer recall on this before.

The soft top is in good shape except someone cut on the passenger side (Repaired), and passenger side plastic quoter window needs to be worked on. May be repairable.

A beautiful ride, most of the time shifts smooth. With high acceleration, you might feel the shift between first and second gears.

The blower and AC motor replaced recently. Ready for standard R134.

No rust spots on body and in the areas of doors and windows. Few small dents around and few chips on the trunk. All lights inside and out are functional. No engine oil licks. The fuel pump replaced and from brackets with rotors replaced.

The rear springs and all shocks are replaced recently. Audio works. USB, CD etc with Sony Amp and 6 Kicker speakers.

The tires are all match and newly replaced (less than 500 miles).

I draw it last year to pick-up my daughter from the school 2-3 miles every day.

I have soft cover for the seats available, if you need them. The seat has usual wear for 35 years old car, but passenger seat in great shape.

No tools or manual. Clear NC title.
