1970 Mercedes Benz 280 SE Sedan

This is a 2-owner car out of an estate. The firstowner owned it for 18 years and the second owner for 31 years. It was sold new in Eugene, Oregon and then spent most of its life in Portland.

The seats, headliner and carpets are in excellent original condition. The dash wood at the base of the windshield is sun baked. The gauges all work properly. The dash lights, interior lights, horn, turn signals, brake lights, tail lights, wipers and radio work. The air conditioning has not been serviced.

The paint and body are in nice condition. The doors, hood and trunk shut like they did from the factory. The chrome is very good for 49 years old. The body rubber is soft. The glass is clear and has 2 small chips in the windshield.

The motor starts and runs smoothly. The transmission shifts very well with no stiff shift. The brakes work fine. The suspension is very sound and drives nicely at freeway speeds. It has 4 new Toyo radials.

This is a great survivor. It has the records and books from new.
