Description of 1977 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 450SL Roadster Convertible

This 1977 450SL convertible roadster was purchased in 1977 by a well known restaurant owner.The vehicle was acquired from the owners estate.The vehicle was a secondary vehicle, spending several decades in their garage storage.
The vehicle has undergone a large mechanical/cleaning refurbishment in preparation to this sale in the last two months.

Professional fuel tank refurbishment
New driveshaft center support bearing

Please note; the vehicles paint is not perfect, there are scratches and swirl hazing found through out from dust and dirt from being in storage for such a long period.
The vehicle would benefit greatly from further attention.Rust can be found on the edge of convertible lid and other areas.All body panels, undercarriage floor panels and engine compenents are all in great shape.
The all original Cognac leather interior is fairly nice.The cognac leather seats are in fine seasoned condition.The headrests are tired having loose horse hair. Cracks are present on the dash, that could be repaired if so desired.
The car currently drives, breaks and stops.Has cold AC, and would benefit greatly from being driven more.The vehicle will need to be tuned up once more miles are driven, I'm sure.There are still several things that could be improved upon as one should expect for a vehicle of this age.
