Description of 1967 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 250 SL |
Especially rare are the manual cars; add in the rumble seat and the 5th gear that was a seldom-selected and expensive option and you've got the rarest of the W113s outside of the Pininfarina coupes. This particular example is stunning in arctic white with blue mb tex, and while the asking price is quite high it's still relatively low for rare, classic Mercedes-Benz convertibles. This 250SL factory 5 speed ZF manual transmission is one of only 882 Pagodas with the special Mercedes ZF 5 spd built only for the SL models. And it is pristine and rust free! Chrome, paint, wood, interior, original hubcaps and beauty rims, mechanical condition all is in excellent condition. It is restored where it needed to be and has original carpet and seats renewed a few years back. It is a low mileage car with 61,000 miles. Owned by a local Princeton Businessman for 30+ years. It was purchased in Italy and shipped over. |
