1985 Mercedes 300CD turbo diesel 2 door coupe only 118k miles w. records

1985 was the last year Mercedes built the gorgeous 123 series turbo diesel coupe . They made these legendary cars between 1978 and 198, but only for the last 4 years with the turbo version . They are known to be the most reliable and enduring cars Mercedes Benz ever produced . You often find them with over 500k miles and still running well . This particular car was finished in "blue/black" MB-color code 199 with Palomino color MB-Tex interior. It is a stunning color combination and you hardly ever see them in this color. Since this car only has 118k miles on i, the interior is also still in great condition . There are no rips or tears in the seat, the carpets are clean and even the original wood is still in great shape. The body is straight and the mostly original paint still shines like on a much newer car. I do get compliments on it all the time .

But the nicest thing about this car is the way it drives. It has plenty of power on the freeway and in town and it shifts smoothly through all the gears. It cruises effortlessly with 90 mph and still get's between 26-28 mpg of diesel . It has been well maintained and it shows. It still has the original radi, even though sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. It is 35 years old after all. All the power windows work as intende, even the ones in the back going all the way up and down. The AC has been converted and it blows nice and cold with the climate control working well.

This 300CD has recently been serviced and i could not think of anything it needs. I did take lot's of pictures and they can describe the car better than i could . But if you have any more questions or would like to come out and see it, just send me an email and i will answer promptly.

I would prefer to sell this car locally to somebody who could come out and see i, but i would also be willing to help with shipping arrangements for any out of town winning bidders. Please have your funding in order and do all your ''due diligence'' BEFORE placing a bid . This is a wonderfu, well taken care off 35 year old classic Mercedes and it will be sold without a warranty.
