For sale is an immaculate 1989 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC Excellent condition inside and out, very well maintained. Paint is basically perfect. Zero rust whatsoever. Runs and drives wonderfully. Smooth and powerful. Serviced at the same SoCal Mercedes dealer until 2010. Always on the west coast. Started in California, then Washington and Oregon. Located in Portland area. Clean Oregon title. Odometer shows 150k miles, but it looks like it has 50k miles. >160+ high-res photos here< AMG bumper lips professionally molded into bumpers AMG 16x7.5" wheels just fully restored, and new tires H&R suspension springs Euro headlights (LHD) clear corner markers Becker stereo, original amps & speakers AC converted to R134 dash recovered in black leather with stitching All features, switches, etc working including power seats, seatbelt presenters, etc SLS rear suspension serviced and working Fog lights working The only flaws are: - latch not working on lower center console sliding cover - front lower ball joint boots cracking - drivers side air intake hose (pre-filter) has started to deteriorate, and is discontinued. Attempting to order from MB Classics More detailed info: Car was originally in southern California and serviced at Mercedes-Benz of Escondido until 2001, to around 110k miles. Then the car moved to Seattle and remained until 2009 (around 135,000 miles by this point). Unsure until this point if this was the same owner or not. In 2010 the car moved to Oregon, remained under the same owner until 2018, and was serviced at Hartmann Motors until its current ~150,000 miles. We purchased it in 2018 and performed some of the recent service and upgrades. The only modifications are authentic period-correct AMG front + rear lips, AMG 16x7.5 et17 wheels, H&R lowering springs (original springs included), Euro LHD headlights, clear corner lights, and aftermarket wood grain shift knob (original black leather knob included). The AC was converted to R134 in 2012. The dash was removed and recovered in leather in 2017. A replica period-correct AMG badge was fitted to the trunk as well (easily removed). 3 keys including valet key. Original SLS rear suspension functional and recently serviced (2017). Correct Becker head unit with original Mercedes stereo amps and speakers. Both seatbelt presenters working. Automatic locks working (including fuel door lock). Engine runs strong and smooth. Transmission shifts great, no observed issues. All of the body paint appears to be original except for the bumpers which must have been repainted when the lips were added and molded into the bumper form. All the paint is in excellent condition, save for some scrapes to the point of the front bumper lip. This is a nitpicky list but a prospective buyer would want to know these things. - The latch for the lower center console cubby doesn't catch (or I haven't figure out how it works). - The driver's side air intake hose (pre-air filter) has a small 2" hole on the underside (not visible unless removed), but the part is unavailable (A1170941982) and shouldn't affect the performance or operation of the engine. - Underbody is very clean but minor wetness forming on bottom of transmission. Zero drips on the floor after 1 year. - 1 ball joint on each side of the front suspension shows cracked boots Pre-2010 records: Contacted Mercedes-Benz of Escondido but they apparently recently changed ownership and said all the old records were lost.
