Hello... Up for bid is a Beautiful 1983 Mercedes Benz 300D W123 Turbo Diesel. This is a nice and rare classic Mercedes with a clean Autocheck history and low mileage for the year!! It is equipped with the legendary 3.0L Turbocharged diesel engine. Also known as the "million mile motor." This is a great running car that starts right up and accelerates smooth. The engine runs like a clock and sounds quiet. The automatic transmission shifts smooth through all gears. The steering is nice and straight, handles the road excellent. This car rides very smooth and comfortable down the road. It only has 162,000 miles which is very low for the year and this power plant!! (Only 4,000 per year.) The tires have great tread remaining and brakes stop nice. This is a nice looking classic luxury car and gets a lot of compliments. It was repainted a beautiful dark blue a few years back. The original color was tan. The body is very solid and straight. The paint presents nicely, was a driver quality job and shows minor blemishes. Has some small chips and scratches as expected but overall looks nice!! It is missing the rear bumper rubber guard which can be easily found. The glass is all great and tinted windows have been added. The trim is all very nice as well. Wheels are in nice condition and the car has a great stance. The interior looks well kept and free of major wear. The leather looks great, carpet is clean, headliner and door panels look very nice as well. The interior looks all original with the exception of an aftermarket radio that was added. This car is loaded with all power options, moonroof, CD player, Panasonic radio and more!! After the car is running sometimes the engine doesn't shut off when the key turns off, i was told it is a vacuum leak. This collectible Mercedes makes for a fun driver and will continue to climb in value. Underside is very solid and original.Has a clean clear title.
