This 1983 Mercedes 380SL was sold new through Rallye Motors in Glen Cove, New York, and was recently purchased by the selling dealer from the original owner. It shows 37k miles and is powered by a 3.8-liter V8 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. It is finished in Lapis Blue over a Palomino interior and is equipped with automatic climate control, cruise control, fog lights, a blue soft top, and a body-color removable hardtop. Work in 2018 included replacement of the rear brakes and brake master cylinder. This 380SL is now offered by the selling dealer with the original sales paperwork, factory literature, service records, a tool kit, a clean AutoCheck report, and a clean New York title.
The exterior is finished in Lapis Blue Metallic (932) and features chrome wheel arches and a factory pinstripe on each side. This car also includes a blue convertible soft top and a body-color removable hardtop.14″ wheels are fitted with Michelin MXV4 tires, and a full-size spare is located in the trunk. The braking system features four-wheel discs, and the master cylinder, rear calipers, pads, rotors, and brake lines were replaced in 2018.
