Description of 1967 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series |
Mercedes-Benz 250 SE 2 door classic coupe, rare 111 chassis, no title, sold as is with a bill of sale for restoration or parting out. PROJECT THAT CAN MAKE MONEY....Very Low ReserveComplete with original drive train,Barn Find, Not driven since many years, Complete car. All the chrome and interior is complete. Radio, gauges all intact inside. Column Shift. The straight Six cylinder Engine can be cranked and is free. The fuel needs flushed out and fuel system flushed before trying to start the car which has not been done. The car should start once this is done?? most probably??? Engine Bay and Drive Train seem unmolested and correct original. Body has rust in the wheel wells front and rear and more for Arizona standards. The rockers seems to have been replaced before. The floors seem ok and so does the floor of the trunk. Rust holes in the trunk wells where spare and tools are kept. I will post more pics soon as I get to the car which is at the shop where they put new ignition to enable starter to crank the engine. I have seen worse condition Mercedes being restored. In my opinion this is a good candidate for a frame off restoration and I hope the person buying it will restore it as there are not too many of these cars available anymore. The car in parts is a lot of money too as most of the parts are interchangeable with the convertibles.. Please ask all the details you need after you read the text above and have more questions. I will respond quickly. Three wheels have new tires and one wheel has old tire that keeps air for a couple days. Therefore car can be rolled easy. DOES NOT RUN. Buyer to arrange pickup and pay for shipping. |
