The car was originally purchased in Atlanta GA by an executive from International Multi-foods. Through corporate transfers the car was licensed in Connecticut, Switzerland, and Minnesota. I purchased the car in 1989, and sent it to Rivertown Carrozzeria in Stillwater Minnesota to be restored as a daily driver in 1992. The engine and transmission were completely gone through by the local Mercedes dealership at the same time. I drove the car occasionally for a couple of years; the rest of the time it has lived in a garage, and driven a few times a year (so much for the daily driver concept). The car is in very good condition; it runs and drives fine. Please look at all of the pictures, and ask any questions before bidding on the car. There are some warts (28 years on a restoration, it has a few), and I have tried to document them in the pictures. The air suspension works but bleeds down overnight, there is a transmission fluid leak when the air suspension is down; rear seal perhaps? The power antenna is not working. The original radio and speakers are included, not installed, but packed separately. Exhaust is stainless steel. The original miles are unknown. The speedometer was converted to km when the car was shipped to Switzerland, and then back to miles when I bought it, so the 75k in the listing is a best guess. There are 12,000 miles since 1992. This is an as is sale, so ask questions.
