This sought-after, great fun to drive, G-class 230GE Mercedes cabriolet is from the same automotive G Wagon family sold to the Popes of Rome, movie stars, rock stars, and other world leaders. Our G was originally produced for the Swiss Army (when did you ever hear of a war in Switzerland?). It has been updated for a civilian use ------ BEACH BUGGY/MOUNTAIN CLIMBER with cosmetic redo – newer fire opal blue exterior paint and black interior including black tex Mercedes-specified Recaro front seats and black dyed bench rear jump seats. (Both show some signs of wear: keep in mind it is a 29 year old vehicle) It was re- fitted with new Mercedes style 20 inch G wagon wheels and recently new AMERICUS 35 x 250 x 20 inch Rugged Mud terrain tires. The almost new Goodyear spare is enclosed on the rear door. We also included a new Hydraulic jack and Mercedes style chrome“t” lug wrench. New Mercedes front brakes and rotors. New front and rear modern Mercedes G class turn signal lenses. This remarkable wagon was manufactured (like all Mercedes G Wagons) in the Daimler Puch plant in Austria and bears a family resemblance to current production convertible G Wagons. It comes with a Mercedes automatic trans and a very peppy 4 cylinder Mercedes 2.3 litre engine (with great torque power and super gas mileage). Parts are very easily accessible.
