Description of 1966 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

1966 Mercedes Benz SE sunroof coupe. I bought this car with the intention of restoring it but my situation has changed in many areas of my life so I thought I'd give a crack at selling it. Its been painted and has new vinyl interior. I replaced the engine and transmission with one from another correct year car. That engine has a new cylinder head. I have roughly 85% of the parts for it. I've included a couple pics of the car prior to the restoration process so you can see how looked before I started restoring it. It was hit in the back and had a little floor rust on either side of the trunk. Unfortunately the accident it yielded me a salvage title. The car had the original paint . I did a color change although its a correct color for that year. I am willing to answer all questions in detail. The engine currently isn't hooked up and the car needs to be finished being put back together. Its a great car thats worth doin, but at this point in my life, I have to let some things go. The car is used and is sold "as is - where is". I can help with local delivery or delivery to a local international shipping company at buyers expense. Ive lowered the reserve significantly. Cars needing everything redone are priced similarly. Ive heard this engine run in a driving car before installing it in this car. After going through all the parts I can see that there's more there than I thought. Its not missing more than a couple pieces or so of trim. Ive got a lot of time in on this car. The winning bidder will not be disappointed. Get a bid in now so it meets the reserve and you can see this car is for sale!!!

NOTE: The title is a California TITLE with a salvage history. Not a salvage certificate or Acquisition bill of sale. The car can be registered OR exported. The title work has already been completed and I have the title in my possession.
