1985 Mercedes-Benz 380 SL. Not a rare bird, but a classy ride. Garaged for 35 years. Fair condition for its age. New brakes, new tires, new battery. A tad over 82k original miles. No accidents. Interior carpets replaced in 2017. Solid. Everything is in good working order except air conditioning and power radio antenna which is finicky and means radio is staticky. Hard top is in excellent condition and in cold weather the heater blows hot. Original hardware and paperwork for roof management in the glovebox. Car only driven in good weather. Two small repairs in soft top, and rear left vinyl window of soft top is damaged. See pictures. I only drove with top down so these imperfections didn't matter to me. Soft top is manual and easily worked by one person. Original paint is crackled on a section of the rear of car. Rubber entry trim on inside of passenger side is fragile and is deteriorated on driver's side. See pictures. There is one spot of rust on trunk. Under-carriage shows expected signs of age. See pictures. All exterior and interior lights work, including dual visor vanity mirrors. Original first aid kit in place. Power windows and mirror. Full size spare tire. Would benefit from a tune up. A fun car treated with love.
