1986 Mercedes Benz 190DAll Original! 5-Speed Manual! Low Miles!No Reserve Auction!
Here is a clean and all original 1986 Mercedes Benz 190D. This is a very rare 5-Speed manual transmission with low miles. We are offering this vehicle on one of our no reserve auctions and we will sell to the high bidder. Please review the description and feel free to reach out for further information. The current condition of this rare manual transmission makes a great candidate for cosmetic restoration or simply turn the key and drive it daily!
This exterior of this Benz is finished in what was a sharp navy blue. The overall body is in good condition with all original panels straight and rust free. The Benz will need an entire repaint as the AZ sun has taken its toll! Factory alloy wheels with a matching set of tires in very good condition. All glass, plastics, lenses and trim are in good condition. All handles and latches are in good working order.
The interior is in good condition; finished in grey MB Tex. The seats and armrest are in good condition throughout with no rips or tears. The dashboard is cracked as shown in photos, again the AZ sun is tough on them, door panels, carpet, and other trim panels/pieces are all in good condition. The air conditioning in this car works perfectly, unlike any other Mercedes of this vintage, it is ICE cold, the heater on the other hand is not working. Power sunroof works well, vacuum locks work with the exception of left rear door, all power windows work with exception of passenger rear, cruise control works intermittently, factory radio is not working.
Mechanically speaking this vehicle is solid. It does start very easily, (even on cold mornings) idles smooth and does not appear to have any leaks. Regular maintenance and repairs is apparent as this car drives very well overall. The transmission is great and shifting this car is amazing, so smooth. The value of this vehicle is in the originalityof the vehicle inside and out and the rare manual transmission with low miles.
