This 1972 Mercedes 250 coupe is probably one of the best I ever seen. I have been dealing with these car's for over 30 years and sold many Classic Mercedes here on Ebay. Once in a blue moon a car like this pop's up. If I didn't tell you it had 90 k miles you would think it had 10 k. I mean it's that perfect. With some proper detail it could easily be Concourse car.
The Light Beige Paint is Stunning and 100 % Original. No paint wor, no Dent', No rust just Glossy beautiful paint as when it was new. The chrome Bright work is excellent all around the car. The undercarriage is spotless and also very clean nothing rusty . Truly you can see this was a garage Queen.
The saddle interior is Exceptional. It's also 100 % Original and show's no wear. The dash is flawless with no cracks. The wood is bright and Glossy as when new. Many collector's know how the wood faded and cracked over the years. you can see the lines in the wood and still the deep color. Truly Stunning. The head liner is tight and has no damage. It has beautiful Coco mat's to compliment the interior. The steering wheel is excellent also something known to Crack over time. Overall the interior show's like when new. Nothing to mention.
Inside the car you will find the Original Am/fm becker radio and it works perfectly. The high light of this 250 coupe is when the window's are down its completely open . No pillar a Classy look to the car. All the lights work as do the turn signals .
Mechanically the car is a Gem. The car just received and extensive service. All new Brakes rotor's and pads including new brake flui, tire, New fuel filte, new fuel pum, new oil filter and Air filter . New Muffle, All new Sub frame mount, drive belt was replaced . These were all recent to get the car back on the road 100 % I have all the service records on the car and at 75 k miles it had a ton done to it in 1999 before his health declined and they took it off the road.When you pump the gas once when cold and turn the key she fires right up as it's a carbureted car and it runs like a watch. super smooth and quiet. when driving the car you notice the great power when you step on the gas and how smooth the transmission shift's . The suspension is very tight and the car holds the road like when new. Braking is excellent as they are all new. The Original R 12 Ac is still working and Ice cold. Very rare again. Overall this is a car you can now drive anywhere and be one of the Proudest owner's of truly a classic Mercedes Benz. They don't build them like this anymore. The way this car has held up and how amazing the paint still look's as well as the interior is Mind boggling .
