Vehicle Details I own a restoration shop and this is a car I am selling for a customer. It is a 1936 Daimler Benz [Mercedes] 4 door sedan. Being a California car it has no rust issues at all. The body on the car is very, very straight with no dings or dents. There are some small chips in the paint here and there that could be touched up easily. All the glass is good with no cracks. The windshield folds out for fresh air. The interior was redone sometime in the life of the car and still looks quite good with no visible flaws to speak of. There is an aftermarket German temperature gauge that works,. the one in the dash does not. The fuel gauge does not work, the oil pressure gauge does. The engine, transmission, brakes and clutch all work like they should but the engine does smoke a bit. When the car first came to us it had a carburetor problem. It had the updraft carb and couldn't find parts for it so we made a downdraft manifold and put a modern carburetor on it. It runs good now and the original manifold and carb go with the car. Also, we have a lot of books and paper work that go with the car too. If you have any questions please call Bruce or Skyler at 916-652-6852 any time. If you need help with shipping we help with that too. Thanks for looking.
