Description of 1983 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

RELIST CAUSE OF NON-PAYMENT

BUY IT NOW is for a 1983 Mercedes 380 SL (not running)
Bought this Mercedes in 2015 from a local deale, didn't run it only idled and died once pushed the throttl, discovered all kinds of vacuum leaks and incorrect vacuum hose connection, it came to a point that i could drive it around the block but had to push the throttle slowly otherwise it would die .I worked in the oil fields and was out for 4 weeks and home for a week .Had a local mechanic working on i, when i came back home i wondered what he had don, bought all kinds of parts and messed with the injector, found all kinds of injectors in the trunk .After a hot conversation with the man he admitted that he didn't know what he was doing and wasn't used to work on Mercedes .I put the SL in storage and haven't looked at it till the neighbours storage got on fire and the fire department had to cut open my storage door to prevent that the fire would spread .They sprayed foam all over the items in storage (which they should)I pulled the SL out (last 2 pictures) and brought it home and cleaned it (just gave it a wash, came out goo, the chrome bumpers had some smoke damag, i polished a part of them and came back to live . NICE CHROME / STRAIGHT / NO DENTS
The chrome bumpers came of a 1973 450 SLC and all the hardware and fog lights / turn signals are include, as pictured in trun, the valence of the rear bumper is complete and in good shap, overall the bumpers are in great condition besides they need to be cleaned
The body of the SL is super straight has still a nice shin, there is a small spot as pictured under the fuel doo, also as pictured there is small blemish on the driver door (paint shipped of ) and some surface scratches on the passenger side rear fende, i tried to buff them out with mild polisher and it got better but didn't use a special polisher . These are the main imperfections on the bod, expect normal wear for a almost 40 year old car .
Soft top : condition unknown : since i never took the hard top of
Electronics : when i just got i, i tried everything and it all worke, since SL has been sitting for over 8 year, no guarantees if it still work, didn't test it since there is no more a battery in the SL
!!!!!! NOW the most important part : NOT RUNNING as explained above
BUY IT NOW $225, !! KEEP IN MIND it comes with a complete set (OEM not after market) of short bumper, and in this case all hard ware (bolts and all other hard ware fog lights and turn signals etc.) (as pictured in trunk) are ther, the bumper set alone is worth quit a bit of money
Clean title : title is in my name since 2018 although bought in 201, that's a whole other story that i'm not gonna bother you with : all i can sa, lawyers were involved to get me the title
Local pick up only .If you want the SL shipped using a car shippe, that's for the buyer to arrange and paid for by the buyer .I will assist in every way to get the SL safe on his way to destinationSL will be released only if it's paid in full (no exceptions)No warranty of any kind . !! THE BUMPERS are not installed so if using a car shipper : the bumpers will be boxed by m, you may notify the shipper that there is a box included with shipment
I'll give up to two weeks for pick up after purchase (and paid in full) needs to be picked up in this time fram, since the property is sold and needs to be empty by closing
Payment : $250 due right after purchas, open balance ($2000) by cashier check send by certified mail to m, SL can be picked up after check is cleared (no exceptions)
