Selling my Mercedes. Bought with the best of intentions. I am a dealer, but bought this as my personal car. I have always loved these dearly and this was one of the nicest I had seen. No rust, original everything. I bought it from a fellow who stated that he inherited it in an estate. Carfax seems to confirm this. He kept it in a storage unit and rarely drove it. Like at all. When I got it I cleaned the plugs and ran fresh gas in it for a while. My intention was to fix the minor things wrong with the car and quite frankly keep it. These are getting difficult to find in this original condition. Also this is an excellent color combo on these. On to those minor things. The A/c does not work. The heat works fine. I did not even check the compressor for freon. It could be low or it could need redone. I was going to convert it. The radio is not functioning, nor is the power antennae. I also have not checked this yet either. The car starts up instantly everytime. It runs and drives fine, but does seem to be a little harsher cold. The shifts are a little hard till warm. They are crisp just a little different to what I am used too. Once warmed up they are fine. I was told this was normal on these, but I do not know. It drives very well. I have been unable to drive this car much myself. Am getting a few others ready to sell as well. Unfortunately in these times for me I am forced to sell a few things I do not want too. There is a tear in the seam of the soft top, it can be stitched, but the shop said 2 months out. Estimate was 125.00 other than that this car is in absolutely beautiful shape. All original. Have original window sticker, books, some records as well. There is nothing stopping anyone from jumping in this and driving it anywhere as far as I am concerned. It is a wonderful car that just need a few minor things and quite frankly driven more.
