Vintage 230sl project car I been working on for over 4 years now and seems the time I actually get to work on it gets to be less and less so I'm parting with it to let someone else continue on with this project.This car was completely stripped of all parts many years ago and its still missing many parts, When I bought the car it came with the rear end and front end installed but I had to remove them to replace all the rubber mounts it also came with many box of spare parts 113 sl and 280se possibly some other MB model cars.I've been selling all parts that I don't need to finance this project presently I have 50 items on ebay anyone interested in buying them please check it out, if you come pick them up it's 50% off and many other still available for free mostly odd and ends for detail email me at "rictakkawashima@sbcglobal.net".Many parts bought new from parts stores in USA and Europe MB dealers and used parts from ebay.Missing parts, front grill assy. soft top and the compartment lid, windshield, wiper arm/blade nuts, L door glass, L/R door trim panels/hardware, interior trims and mouldings, exterior mouldings, spare rim/tire, jack, tool kit, both seats ( listing photo seats are from 280se does not fit properly they are included in the sale), plus anything else you don't see in the listing photos means its missing.This car is going to need some more metal restoration work major body work/paint job.Mechanically lot of it is working ok, all lights and instrument switches gauges/lites seem to be working ok, heating system heater valve -control levers-flaps and the blower motor working ok, wiring harness rebuilt like new, new gas tank, new fuel pump (Carter 460) working fine, hard top mounting brackets are missing and the top is held with a temporary self made brackets, steering column assy is not the correct part (280sl?) the ign/steering lock assy does not fit properly but working ok (meant to fix later), the engine came with the car but from 280se basically the same engine without the techometer drive ( parts are available but expensive so it got put off for later, installing the parts is fairly easy 1-2 hrs).The last 2 photos is parts for this car, L/R rocker covers, spare L entrance mldg, hood- torsion spring rod- strap and hardware- safety catch- guide for the torsion spring, centering hook/pin for hardtop, 3 ext mldgs, ant, 2 front shock, trunk lite wire and bulb socket/wire clips, center under dash panel, right under dash panel, 6 marker lite assy, L/R rear bumpers with guards, 2 mldgs?.Also found something later not in the photos clip for the w/washer nozzle, L door inner chrome trim for striker pin, chrome trim for inner door release handle.Engine starts right up and runs good /sound good and the car can be moved around I drove the car up down the alley but it's not street ready front end alignment way off.Have any questions or need more photos let me know.
