Description of 1988 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

This is a rare 1988 Mercedes 560SL. Only about 8600 of the 560SLs were built in 1988. the last year of production! The VIN number ends in 8001. I do not know how to read their code. This car has only 88. 88 easy miles. Car purchased in March. 1988. by a doctor in Tennessee. for his wife. I have All initial service and repair records back to day ONE. Car has new palomino leather seats. Interior looks unused! Trunk looks unused. When I got the car last summer. I spent over $3000 on the 'basics. New steering linkage. gas shocks. all new brakes. motor mounts. new battery. fuel system checkover. etc. Car always garaged. Never in rain. I am the third ownver. but do not drive the car much. hence reason I am selling it. I bought a boat. Nuf said. Car runs beautifully and powerfully! Engine clean. radiator keeps her cool.
