Silver 1984 mercedes-benz 300d 4-door Turbo Diesel

This was a hobby restoration project that I loved and cared for that became my daily driver in Fort Collins, Colorado. Ideal for an inexpensive comfortable commuter for long distances that will probably run at least 10 more years up to 500 k miles or more. Built like a tank. Mechanically excellent: Brakes (lines, rotors, pads), Radiator, Power Steering, Transmission, Turbocharger, Radiator, Heater Solenoid Valve, drive belts, Bosch injectors replaced or refurbished. Very even tire wear on tires. Starts first time, even after 2 months sitting in garage and runs to perfect temperature around 85 degC. Oil pressure is great. All lights, indicators and electric sun roof and windows work. Does not have intermittent cabin heating problems like other 300d's because installed original MB parts. Heating function is perfect and no issues in Colorado Winter: Need to add additive to Diesel fuel to avoid the fuel gelling ins super low temperatures consistently below 5 F. Car has an engine block heater that plugs into 110 V Outlet for super cold conditions.Highway speeds reach 85 miles per hour on flat road and low wind conditions.Issues that I planned to fix but ran out of time after the mechanical fixes. We moved to Florida where we have a smaller house with limited garage space and so we have to sell it priori to seeing it in full glory:-Cosmetic Issues: Inside the cabin: Center console and radio and a/c dash wood trim is peeling off. Driver seat leather has tears but no foam showing/ protruding. Also small areas on lower body panels have rust if you look accurately. Wheels need a refresh too if you want it to look immaculate. Plastics used on sun visor mirrors are flaky and snap off.-A/C: Cooling no longer impressive. I suspect the A/C pump is worn and needs replacement.-Pneumatically operated central locking system not functional.- Electric antenna needs replacement. Power to antenna is fine, the antenna module itself has plastic components that have broken.One thing to mention: it is a very comfortable and fun ride and I always get a compliment when I take it out because so many people seem to have personal memories that come to life when they see it.
