I am pleased to offer this gorgeous and highly original 1970 Mercedes-Benz 280SL in Horizon Blue (code 304) with rare black MB Tex (code 131) upholstery. Most cars with this exterior color would have been optioned with blue upholstery but this one is optioned with black interior.

Car has been owned for the last 11 years by a collector who has cared for the car and used it sparingly over the years. He added only about 1,000 miles in the last 11 years. Always stored in a climate controlled garage. VIN# is WDB11304412017257 and mileage is 53,XXX +/- actual miles.

This Pagoda is a highly original example with original rugs, door panels, hubcaps, wood, engine compartment, hardtop etc. Owner cannot prove whether the car has been repainted or not so he does not know if the paint is original or not. In either case, the Horizon Blue paint is in beautiful condition and still shows the all important headlight notches. This is a very different car than the highly restored examples that you see at the major auction sales. After all, a car like this is original only once.
