Portal Axles & Unmatched Capability

Predecessors to the Mercedes G-Wagon, Unimogs are among the few vehicles fitted with portal axles, which provide gear reduction at the wheel hub—resulting in superior ground clearance and massive torque to turn those 39.5” tires. Originally a NATO standard troop carrier, this Swiss military 404 has been upgraded for rock crawling and extreme off-road adventures. Upgraded Performance-Tuned M130 Engine – 165HP of Smooth Power

Need more power? We’ve got you covered. The engine in this Unimog is quite impressive! We have a fully rebuilt M130 from a Mercedes 250C with high compression and a hot cam from a 280SL. Unlike most Unimogs, this one doesn’t bog down on hills, and with a top speed of 60mph, it’s practical for more than just trails. It also has gears for days, resulting in a top speed of just over 1mph at full throttle in crawler first gear!
