This vehicle is owned by the widow of the man who called it ‘his baby.’ He just passed in the last 60 days. It is not her baby. She has only driven the car twice. The car has enjoyed a leisurely life in Virginia. For many years it traveled the roads of NoVa but for the last 20 years it has lived in rural Virginia. We are about an hour east of Richmond, and an hour east of Fredericksburg.

THIS ONE OWNER GEM HAS BEEN GARAGED FOR IT’S ENTIRE LIFE. At 185,000+ miles it is a barely used great long life road cars.

This beauty is one of the best examples of preservation not restoration hat I’ve seen. There are NONE of the classic visible signs of deterioration. Normally you will find the dash cracked, and/or the wood grained interior trim with hairline cracks. Not present here!

These cars are true classics with no competition if you want a great driving road car, with the pleasures of luxury and class. If you want to leap of the line between traffic signals keep scrolling. This tortoise won’t do it!

I have driven this car. It drives well. There are no undesirable knocks, hisses, rattles, or leaks! Of course it has the natural as expected sounds of a Mercedes 80’s diesel.

It is powered by a 3.0 liters turbocharged inline 5 cylinder diesel. It generates 123bhp at 4350 rpm.
The four speed automatic transmission shifts as expected!
The palomino MB tex leather interior shows little wear except the center console which is covered to hide a typical rip.

The manganese brown metallic exterior is nice, but candidly can be improved by a hand wash and wax job.

The body is straight, without rust, except for a bump in the trunk and rear passenger light perimeter where he backed into another vehicle when parking. She recalls two similar minor events in the life of this vehicle.

Being a country vehicle there is NO CURB RASH ON THE WHEELS.

The tires are Uniroyal with about 50-60% tread remaining.

The odometer reads 185,635 miles. Known to be true and accurate original miles.

This car is VERY nice. It has received regularly scheduled maintenance, including oil chamges.

The vacuum system operates well...particularly for an old Mercedes.

The windows operate electrically. All glass is clear.
