Description of 1980 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 450-SL Convertible

For sale by owner 1980 Mercedes-Benz 450-SL. I don't have the time or the space to complete this project and would love to see her go to a MB enthusiast. This is a gorgeous car and pretty unique. Unlike most. it has a back seat. It drives and looks great as is and with a few minor updates this vehicle will be in mint condition. It is registered through December 2015 and passed smog inspection 9 months ago. Original California plates. New tires. new battery. new air filter. new rear brake pads. Oil change and alignment recently done as well. I have all records of maintenance done to the vehicle since 1980. The hard top is in great shape and it comes with a wind deflector and car cover. Soft top is attached but needs to be repaired. A/C does not blow cold and cruise control is currently not working along with a few other switches on the dash. The center console area has some sun damage. The rear lip of the trunk has a few rust bubbles.
