Description of 1979 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class SLC

The car is in technical excellent working condition! You can take it for a trip around the world. I have fixed/replaced the complete Fuel System (Accumulator. Dampener. Filter . etc. . Struts. new Tires (Firestone Firehawk wide oval Indy 225/50R16. Some components on the transmission incl. Oil Filter. Steering Pump Filter and Oil. Engine Oil and Filter (several times). (all Oil used had been approved by Mercedes for this particular Model) Exhaust leak had been fixed and new fixtures had been installed. AC was refilled and worked for 6 month perfect till one day the pully/clutch got stuck. The A/C Compressor had been new. Engine runs very very strong and smooth. Steering is very good and precise (nearly no play). Shifting is very smooth. The Interior is in absolute original and good condition. Little tear and wear here and there . but it suits the car. The only negative point is the car had been repainted in the original white and it has some rust spots (Rear Right Wheel Weld to Longmember and the 2L Q-Window Hemflange under the Beltline Molding). I was going to fix it but I am returning to Europe earlier then expected and therefore I need to sell this car. I also removed the after market Rear Spoiler (3 little holes in the trunk). "This car has European Bumpers. Headlights and original BBS Wheels". the car also comes with a lot of original spare parts as Headlight Lenses (Glass). Filters. Seals. Rubbers. Fluids).
