Description of 1990 Mercedes-Benz 400-Series

Beautiful SoCal Classic Collector's Mercedes 420 SEL looking for a good home. This car has spent all it's life in sunny SoCal. It was purchased new for $49. 00 in cash in 1990 by a Los Angeles Doctor. I still have the original invoice and owner's manual. It was sold and moved to San Clemente in 2005. I purchased it in 2007 and must sell it due to a recent move leaving me with less parking space. It was repainted several years ago with a very nice paint job. The car is in excellent condition for a 25 year old car. and has only minor cosmetic flaws like a split in the front passenger seat. and the rear shelf carpeting is a little sunbaked. I've been driving it regularly. and the car still runs strong with no issues other than the usual ones for cars of this age. like minor leaks. etc. I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. The Driver's Window doesn't work. Still has good tread left on the Bridgestone tires. which have about 16. 00 miles on them. Wheels are in good condition. A/C blows cold. Items rebuilt include the heads. emissions control unit. timing chain. radiator and a transmission service. Recent items done a year ago include new belts. nbsp;pulleys. nbsp;hydraulic actuator. nbsp;air injection reactor pump. fuel distributor fuel pump. fuel filter. windshield wipers. and new battery at a cost of $3300. I've invested about $13. 00 total in service over the last eight years at a local Mercedes Specialist and have the maintenance records.
