Description of 1974 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 280

I am the second owner of this vehicle. I haven't driven it for any distance in over 5 years. I have started it and kept the battery charged. About ten years ago I had the upholstery redone in German calf skin. Still in good shape. The odometer says 68. 00 plus. but I believe it is more like 100. 00. The engine was stalling when the idle went to low. so we checked for a vacuum leak and found none. so of course we just jacked up the idle. It does make a "thump" noise when it goes into reverse. The A/C does work. but the compressor makes noise. I have the original manuals and radio. Driver side seat belt does not work properly and will need some work.
