Description of 1980 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series Wagon

My friend Bob who owns a Mercedes spares yard purchased this 1980 300TD and I think it's too nice to part out. 136000 mile car with original China Blue exterior and blue interior. Unfortunately gasoline was put in the tank and damaged the motor. Turns over but does not catch. Will need repair or replacement. Nothing further has been done to the car. I do not know the history but it looks to have been well taken care of up until the mistake. If you have a rusty donor vehicle this is certainly a great car to swap over. As you can see in the photos with a few very minor spots this is a straight bodied rust free car that came from Oklahoma. Decent interior. Seats have surface cracks in the MB-tex but feel like new. No sagging from broken springs or degraded horse hair. New Michelin tires. Paint is cracking and chipping on the horizontal surfaces but the car still looks very presentable.With the hopes of the car being saved I'm helping my friend post this car on ebay with a low opening bid and no reserve. If it does not sell it willunfortunatelybe broken up for its manyvaluableparts. Please BID/adopt and save one more from the crusher.
