Stunning grey on red interior with a black soft convertible top 450SL with only 97000 miles. Garage kept in Florida and being offered for sale on behalf of one of our customers who collects vintage cars this is a one of kind car that will be very difficult to find.

Starts right up and drives like a champ. Even at 100mph the drive is smooth comfortable and quiet. We had the parked in our indoor showroom for a few days and did not notice a single drop of oil or fluids. All his vehicles are kept in a climate control warehouse in Boca Raton and mechanically in outstanding condition.

The interior is in excellent condition. As the near 100 pictures will indicate there arent any major imperfections to mention. Though not a brand new car as close as possible. ALWAYS GARAGE kept and never driven in the rain. Convertible top in outstanding condition.

Exterior is absolutely insanely clean. The paint shines a deep and glossy grey and literally looks like new. I have not seen many cars this old in such condition and have sold 100's off 560SL's 380SL'S and 450SL'S. The moldings are in good condition and the rubber weatherstrippings which typically wear off and in need of replacement every so often and are also in excellent condition. Comes with books manuals service records 3 keys original tools and jack and a spare tire.

We have sold 100's of vintage Mercedes and for those of you looking for a $10000 car this car is not in that class. Nowadays being a classic these W107 body styles fall in the following categories/price ranges:

1) $30000-$50000 - expect a near perfect showroom condition museum quality car with low miles and perfect mechanical condition. These cars are VERY DIFFICULT to locate however they do exist and if youre looking for a 9.9 out of 10 you will have to have this budget.

2) $15000-$25000 - expect a very clean and near new car with some minor imperfections and excellent mechanical condition. These cars are not perfect but will not be far from it. These are the 8's and 9's.

3) Under $10000 - Unfortunately we simply do not stock these cars are most will need a lot of work to be in excellent condition. We have seen some unicorns in this price range but the 'you get what you pay for' rule applies. Keep in mind its VERY easy to spend $5000 on mechanical work alone on an old Mercedes. So while looks are important there are many factors to consider when buying a car this old. Also while many dealers and restoration shops are now buying these 'cheap' beaters and fixing them up and restoring them we do not.
