1957 Mercury Montclair Look at this BEAUTIFUL cruiser we just got in! This is a big body stunner with gorgeous lines and curves. It is a timeless classic you just do not see any more at all! This is a two owner car and the previous owner had it for about 6 MONTHS! It was owned and driven by a doctor almost its WHOLE LIFE!The body is SUPER clean with no rust and is a very solid car. All panel gaps line up nice and the doors shut with confidence! No need to slam any of them. The trim is all in great condition and shines NICE. The grill is super clean and BOTH bumpers show very well. The headlights are CLEAR and show no signs of crack or chips. The taillights look good as well and this car looks incredible from the back! The two tone blue paint is driver quality and looks very good as pictures show it reflects VERY well! With that being said, here are some rock chips that have been touched up very well. This car has been driven and is MADE to drive! A new frame was introduced in 57 and it makes this car SUPER SOLID! It drives down the road with ease and fires up first time every time. The engine bay hosts the 368 and it is paired with an automatic transmission. It is nice and clean and runs super strong. The Turnpike Cruiser badge is still intact and looks great! This is the same as the Lincoln Y block and can do 16.2 MPG! The engine is super quiet and shifts like a DREAM!! The interior is original and is in incredibly good condition. There is a crack in the vinyl on the driver’s side that is pictured but either than that it is SUPER clean! The seats are plush and the back ones look to have never been sat on. The dash is gorgeous and shows no signs of heat rash or cracks. The original BIG steering wheel is still present and looks great. This car was SO ahead of its time featuring push button start and shifting as well! The door panels are nice and ALL hardware works. The POWER antenna works as well! The radio does not work but is present. The headliner is nice and tight and has no rips. The gauges are super clear and EASY to read. This is one of my favorite cars on our showroom floor, nd we have the largest classic showroom in the Mid-West! There is allot of high horsepower cars in here and this car STILL gets ALLOT of attention as it catches your eye like no other! It is absolutely a cruiser and the price reflects that. I believe you will be hard pressed to find a solid car like this in this price range, et alone another 57 Mercury!
