Description of 1967 Mercury Cougar

This gun metal gray/platinum LeMans Racing Stripes 1967 Mercury Cougar XR-7 is a Restomod. It was restored for an enthusiast, yself. Not just to look at, ut to enjoy driving a daily driver for years to come. The body was media-blasted with walnut shells to prevent pitting metal before the primer and paint was applied. There is no bondo or accidents to report before or after restoring this beatiful car. The lines of the body have been gapped and aligned to less than a quarter or eighth of an inch all through the reassembling process that gives the trunk, ood, nd doors smooth opening and closing use. The wheel wells and trunk has been rhino-lined for added protection for road driving. All parts: Polished & Ported 302ci engine, olley 4bbl carburator, 4 transmission, uspension & steering, lectrical wiring, nd interior are from a 1968 Mercury Cougar XR-7 that I had retired. Upgrades: Include a GTE Hood Scoop, larger 20 gallon gas tank (for longer distance/less refueling), ive (5) Torq Thrust II 17x7 wheels (spare is identical so you don't lose the look after a flat), ustom Baer Brakes w/14" slotted/drilled rotors with rear brake conversion (for great modern stopping power), etractable radio antenna (more subdued when not in use), riginal signal switch works, pgraded daily driver air conditioning, ew chrome bumpers front & back, ront and rear windows are new, verything else was restored, r chromed. Too many to list, ut this car has been garaged or in storage in California out of the elements until taken out to drive. Very seldom taken out, ut driven nonetheless since its restoration. Only serious enthusiast or buyers please!
