Up for auction is this '46 Mercury 4 door sedan. The car is in very nice shape inside & out. The Merc has the original flat-head V-8 239 CI that has been professionally rebuilt. You barely touch the start switch and the car is running. 50# of oil pressure, dles smoothly, uns awesome & runs cool @ 165 degrees. The body of the car is really nice with no sign of patch work or bondo. The underside is all sound along the rockers and floor pans & all perches are in good shape. The car was painted about 5 yrs. ago & still looks very nice with a few imperfections that are very minor. It does have real nice shine. The glass is all good. The back 1/4 windows have a slight separation, owever, ot bad. The window all roll up & down nice. The doors, ood & trunk all open & close nicely. The tires are good, rakes are excellent, -brake works, ew bumpers and nice shape chrome strips. The car is heavy laden with chrome(see pics). The car has the original hubcaps and beauty rings. The interior is new with bucket seats in right now, owever, here is the original bench seat that is in decent shape that will be included. It will take about a half an hour to switch seats. The lights work on hi & low beam, long with brake lights, linkers, arking lights too. Has gas gauge, mps, il pressure gauges attached below the dash. The speedo needs a new cable. The radio is gone from the dash. The car has been converted to 12 volt so the lights are brighter & engine turns over faster when starting. The balance is due within 7 days of the end of the action and is due either as cash in person or wired to our bank account.
