1970 Cougar XR7 Convertible

A 1970 Cougar XR7 Convertible, rare) only 1977 made. This car is in very good condition. I take it to the local car shows and get many compliments. It won best original of its class last year.

The Cougar runs excellent with its rebuilt engine, only 1300 miles on it)and looks good with the new Edelbrock intake, arburetor, alve covers and air filter. Sounds great with the new 2 1/2" exhaust and Flowmaster D50 mufflers.

It has new Magnum 500 wheels with new Firestone tires.

The transmission has been recently serviced and the mount replaced.

The rear end has been rebuilt with new gears and seals.

The interior (seats) have been redone with new foam and proper covers to original mfg. specs.

It has a new radiator, lternator andpower steering pump.

There is an AM/FM stereo radio with cassette player and aux.

Everything works as it should including the sequential taillights and the hidden headlights.

The Cougar looks great from 5 ft., here are some imperfections and would need paint to be perfect. Has a chip in the windshield that has not changed over the years.

I think that I am the 3rd owner. I bought the car from a person that had it for 22 years and has been garaged and only driven in good weather.
