Description of 1964 Mercury Comet

1964 Mercury Cyclone Project Car302 Factory 4 barrel (out of a 70 Mustang I think)Automatic. starts right up. no smoke. knocking or ticking. Good oil pressure. Drives. steers. stops. glass is decent - No BondoI start it every week to move for street sweeping. It is registered and insured in my name. Headers. (headers look rusty. but they are actually painted orange) flo master. aluminum valve covers. GM 1 wire alternator. electric fuel pumpGas tank was removed and flushedMonte Carlo bar. fiberglass ram air hood. front fenders. front bumper. doors. trunk lid and rear bumper (not installed)Also not installed: new heater core. ignition and lock set. windshield rubber sealI have a lot of extra parts. too many to list. but there are some pictures . but what's not in the pictures are at least three front cyclone fenders. one Caliente fender. at least three doors. two hoods. original trunk lid. a back window. and I found one taillight bezels. I think I have more. but not positive. Also think I have the aluminum pieces that go between the taillights. a lot of Caliente gingerbread and a full set of tinted windows minus front windshield. I've had this car 20 years and bought it from original owner. but I'm not going to have time to finish it. It is a very solid car. subframes are straight. Aprons and core support in excellent condition. The only rust I could find was a very small spot in front passenger towboard and small hole under battery (as seen in the pictures). It has all new front suspension. bushings. centerlink. tie rod ends. ball joints. lower control arm. power disc brakes. I never aligned the front end and it needs tires. Not the original interior . but do have two sets of door panels. one set being the originals. Missing the factory tack. new B & M shifter. Also have 289 Automatic transmission from another 64 Comet if you want it. Ran when I pulled it out. It looks like it had a very thin second coat of green paint over the original. The car has a reserve of $5. 00 and it will come with all its original parts. Any other parts in the pictures will be included if the bidding reaches $6. 00. If bidding gets to $6. 00 you win the car. all the parts and a choice between the rocket ten spokes with brand new tires. BF Goodrich. These tires and wheels have never been mounted on anything. OR the American Racing 5 spokes with probably 100 miles on the tires.
