Description of 1969 Mercury Cougar

This car is something you have to work on. This car cannot be driven out of here before fixing its overheating problem it also needs its transmission adjusted a bit as I had it rebuilt after a wrong flex plate was installed from a local car business. I did get the right flex plate put in eventually and had the transmission rebuilt. . I did put on some headers and a new excaust system in it along with a few other things like a flex fan and dress kit for the hoses and a special air filter cover . I have had the car for over 24 years. when I got it their was bondo on the front end side as I was told it was in a accident before I got it. I believe the over heating problem is a head gasket problem but it could be as simple as getting a backup water box for it or a water pump . Radiator has been bored out. I put new airlines on for the air shocks a few years ago. She is a 3 speed on the floor. in drive when flooring it she will shift around 45 /50 mph and churp them as their is a shift kit in the transmission. I put a lot of money into her even though you might not be able to see it. The back tires are still next to new I baught all rims for the car. The seats are torn in the front the back are ok. The upholstery needs redone . he passenger side door window needs fixed and put back together the door and window handle. The car has been primored everything but the hood it is coming off though its been a while. This car is a real serious project I got a lot done their is alot to be done still.
