Selling a rare1972 Mercury Cougar XR7 convertible w/ Manual Transmission. Has mostly been garaged. It has the factory drag pack (Mach I) small block 351 Windsor engine with four barrel carb and dual exhaust. It is a factory ordered standard 4 speed manual shift (Hurst Package), hich is rare because XR7's only came with automatic shift after 71. This car is the perfect marriage of luxury with classic muscle: it features power windows, ocks, teering, rakes, nd classic Ford sequential turn signals. It also has the original owner's manual, onvertible boot (not pictured) and trunk/spare tire liner, ear view mirror, hrome carb cover, nd factory Mercury wheel covers. Part of side grill near headlight is cracked, ut a factory replacement is included.Passenger side mirror missing and part of passenger side convertible latch handle is broken. As it stands, he car needs some minor body work, aint, s well as a new gas line and tank and air conditioner refurbishing. Interior seating was reupholstered. However, t runs very strong.
