Recently restored 1951 Mercury with not a scratch on it. It went through a full restoration about 2 years ago. It had already been restored about 10 years before that, t may even have been a frame off restoration that my brother LT. Vincent Perez of the SFFD bought 6 years ago, e died 4 years ago fighting a fire and I completed the restoration for him 2 years ago. Not much left to be done when I took it over, ust install the air shocks he ordered, barrel Holley carburetor and then I chose the new custom paint done on by Image Auto Body in Colma, A. Color of paint is BMW Imago blue and it is a gorgeous and gets alot of compliments. It is a true hot rod and ready to show. It has won first place at a local car show even before the new custom paint and was in a low rider magazine. Here is what I know: 350 Chevy v8 short block, barrel Holley, haved door handles, igh performance dual exhaust, C, ew air shocks and new whitewall tires, renched headlights and Cadillac emblem taillights. Inside has A/C and Chrome tilt steering wheel, ower windows, ower seats, nd power doors, ower trunk opens from inside, iper alarm, eather seats, ustom console, ew dash with gauges and it sounds powerful and runs perfectly. Historical California plates.I kept it to complete for sentimental reasons and now I have twin toddlers and am ready to let it go. No trades, want cash.
