Description of 1961 Mercury Other 600

To the best of my knowledge the vehicle does run, t-least that is what I was told by my Father. I tried to start it but was unable to get it started so I am not sure about it's ability to run. The vehicle was once owned by my grandfather then it was passed down to my father, ho over the years attempted to get it back on the road but he just did not have the resources to do so.
The car has been Registered Non-op for the last several years.
Not sure if the odometer is the correct mileage. The odometer actually reads 68xxx. The engine may have been changed out sometime in the past, ot sure about that though!
