1989 Mercury Tracer wagon. Car runs and drives as it is. The paint is pretty good overall; there are a few spots of paint/body wear but no dents or serious damage. There are a few spots on the hood where the clear coat has come off. The bracket holding the muffler in place is broken and there is some noise/vibration from the muffler not being tight. Will need new brake pads soon. Car uses some oil but not terrible, as long as you check it every couple of weeks it should be fine. The driver's side door does not open from the outside, opens fine from the inside, I haven't tried to fix or troubleshoot it. Car prefers speeds of 55 or less. It's an older 4 cylinder and you get some front end vibration when you drive at higher speeds. Air conditioning does not work. I think that covers most of the issues, car can be driven the way it is; the main thing that needs to be done soon is replace the brake pads. The brakes don't make any noise really but it isn't stopping as well as it should. We've had this car for approximately 3 years, I think the guy we bought it from was the original owner. It's just an old car, has some issues but has always started right up and would be a good, reliable car for somebody if you wanted to put a little work into it. Please look at all the pictures to get an idea of the condition of the car. Please ask any questions before bidding, thanks for looking!
