Description of 1947 Mercury Other

1947 mercury Project Chopped Coupe
- entire body and chassis blasted.
- chopped 3 inches, rear windows extended, cats walk extended for a thin c pillar look.Chop, front end, hood, and door bottoms shaped but not final welded. Floors and rockers welded in but remaining panels require welding.
- custom front and rear rolled pans, bumpers eliminated and holes shaved
-custom firewall with beadwork
- new floors rockers and sub rails front to back
- channeled 4 rear and 2 front
-custom shortened front end started with custom grill opening, front pan and a cutdown 53 desoto grill with turn signals. Front pan and grill opening unfinished
-doors extended to the bottom of the fenders and running board was Eliminated. Doors bottoms unfinished
-doors properly gapped and fit
-all four fenders repaired and straightened
-hood and inner fenders included
- inner fenders were modified for the channel
- hood is shortened, pancaked, peak changed, and a new nose was shaped for it. Hood unfinished
- fuse box, and computer mounted to firewall
- heater and defrost mounted under dash.
- radio mounted under dash and is hidden from view
- two folding seats that fit nice with decent red and black vinyl
- rear seat frame fabricated
- new package tray fabricated
- rear windows made to roll up and down
- front power windows
- pacer independent front end, four link nova rear end. Beefy mustang ii with more engine room. Don't know the condition of rear. 10 bolt with drums
- air bags set up, tank mounted, bags and tank included. compressor mounts built.
- new gas tank
- new aluminum radiator 3 row with trans cooler
- new rack, joints, brakes, rotors, lines for the front end included. Front end is completely new.
- brake lines already run.
- flaming river tilt column with steering joints, shaft and idler installed.
-front and rear sway bars
-firewall mounted master setup. No master included.
- firewall mounted battery tray
-new hood hinges and springs
-new trunk springs
- all garnishes and trim included, taillights, headlights, etc
- new body mounts, trunk rubber, window rubbe, vent seals,door seals, cowl seal
-modern wiper system
- bear claw latches installed with interior door handle mechsinisms installed
- shocks mounted front and rear.
- dash shaved with custom aluminum trim
- pockets for speakers were fabricated into the kick panels and rear deck.
-3 point seat belts
