1949 MERCURY 4 DOOR CUSTOM SEDAN

For sale is my 1949 4 door Mercury project car. This vehicle is currently not a show car but with some TLC can be made into one. I purchased this car a while back and fixed all the rust, dings & dents and the body is currently in a primed condition. This vehicle is a 3 speed standard shift – it starts up and runs fine – no smoke from the engine. I know of no reason why this car could not be driven hundreds of miles worry free. The vehicle has new tires, brakes, new brake lines, new gas tank and lines, rebuilt radiator and carburetor. The voltage has been converted to 12 volts with a one wire alternator. Original radio is in the car but does not work – there is a aftermarket radio installed. The interior is all new – new headliner, door panels, rug & seat covers.
